Product Description
This charge controller is designed for charging 12 or 24 volt batteries from PV modules with a maximum of 75 volts open circuit. It can be used with 200 watts of PV when charging a 12 volt battery and 400 watts when charging a 24 volt battery bank. The MPPT (Maximum Power Point Tracking) provides a boost of 5% to 25% from the PV array when charging depending on cell temperature and battery state of charge. This charge controller easily allows use of a 24 volt PV array to charge a 12 volt battery. The device provides electronic protection from short circuit, overcurrent, reverse polarity, high temperature, lightning and transient surges. An adjustable low battery voltage disconnect protects the battery from overcharging. LED indicators show charging, low battery, and faults.
