MK Sealed Gel batteries are designed so the Gel won't stratify, so equalization charging is not required. These batteries are desgined for less than 2% loss per month standby loss which means low discharge during transport and storage. MK Sealed AGM Batteries

The Sealed AGM (Absorbed Glass Matt) batteries are valve regulated, high tech batteries with efficient recombination. Constructed to conform to UL MH17218 standards, these batteries are recommended for battery backup standby power systems where batteries are in float servies with occasional deep discharges.
